The Unit 3 kitchen, like those of the other two CDC units, has an open feeling that makes it nice to cook and eat in, with brand-new appliances and fixtures we recently added to bring it up to our high standards. In addition to our usual high-quality flatware, cookware, and nicely-stocked refrigerator, this kitchen features a view of Chicago's famous Hancock Tower! Most people don't consider cooking when traveling,
but we think that would change if more hosts would provide the necessary space and tools. After all, consider the
cost for a family of four to eat out twice a day for several days. Not only is cooking in a gourmet kitchen a pleasure,
but the savings on restaurant tabs can actually offset the cost of much nicer accommodations. Who wouldn't give
up a couple of meals at Denny's if it meant they could step up from Motel 6 to China Doll (And don't forget, if you really love to cook, consider the original China Doll, located around the corner from China Doll Country.
